The problem, as shown in your print screen, is the incompatibility between ROOT and CASToR c++ version. ROOT was compiled with c++17 while CASToR was not. So either you get a ROOT version compiled without that flag, compile one yourself or attempt to compile
CASToR with c++17. I never tested the last one, so I can't say if CASToR is c++17 compliant.</div>

<br>
I am trying to install CASTOR v3.1.1 (using ccmake) but I get an error<br>
message while running make command (sudo make -j4).<br>
The error has to do with root files as it is appeared when I set "CASTOR<br>
ROOT ON".<br>
I am trying to install it in a virtual gate environment (vgate9.2 - Ubuntu<br>
22.04) with root 6.24 version.<br>
I have checked the PATH of "ROOT_CONFIG_EXECUTABLE" and it seems to be<br>
wright.<br>
I am attaching an image of the error message.<br>
